An enveloping massage with smooth, rhythmic strokes, so the body can let go and the mind can slow down. It is a wellness massage with no medical or therapeutic purpose: time you give entirely to yourself.
What is this massage?
The classic massage is the most versatile of the relaxing massages. It combines long gliding strokes, gentle kneading and a calm rhythm. I adjust the pressure to your liking, from very soft to firmer, and change it during the session whenever you ask.
It is a good choice if you are coming for a massage for the first time, or if you simply want to give yourself a real pause.
The massage usually covers the back, the backs of the legs and the arms. If you would like me to work on other areas, such as the fronts of the legs, the chest or the stomach, or on the contrary to focus on just one area, simply tell me. We agree on this beforehand, respecting your wishes and your personal boundaries.
How a session goes
- A few words before we start. We talk about how you feel today, the pressure you prefer and any possible contraindications.
- The massage. You lie on a comfortable massage table under a sheet: only the area I am working on is uncovered. I use Styx massage oil, and soft background music adds to the calm atmosphere. If you feel a little cold, the table can be heated.
- After the session. A few minutes to come back to yourself without rushing, with tea or coffee and a little something sweet.
Who is it for?
- those who want to unwind after a busy week;
- those who spend long hours at a computer or behind the wheel;
- anyone trying a massage for the first time and unsure what to choose;
- everyone who loves warmth, calm and an attentive touch.
Durations and prices
The price depends on the length of the session, not on the type of massage.
- Massage
- Face Massage
- Body wrap + face massage
- Body wrap + massage
Our first meeting always starts with a classic massage, even if you later plan another treatment such as a body wrap. For a first session I recommend 1 hour. This first massage will not be intense: it is mainly a way to get to know each other. I give a general massage, find out where tension has built up and which pressure you find pleasant, while you get used to my hands and build trust. Later sessions can then be shaped around your wishes.
When to postpone your session
The massage is not given in case of fever, acute inflammation or skin conditions in the area to be massaged. If you have health problems, please ask your doctor first.
Before each session I always ask about injuries, operations or anything else I should know, so that I know where to be especially careful. If you are pregnant, please be sure to mention it when booking, and I will adapt the session. And if the massage falls on those days of your cycle when the body tends to be more sensitive, we can choose a softer pressure or move the session to a time that suits you better.
Frequently asked questions
Will it hurt?
No, not if you don't want it to. We agree on the pressure beforehand, and you can ask me to change it at any time during the session. Just say so.
What should I wear?
You can keep your own underwear on or wear disposable underwear that I provide. During the massage, the rest of your body is covered with a sheet.
How often can I come?
If you would like some regularity, once every 5 to 7 days is ideal.
How is it different from a sports massage?
The classic massage is calmer and designed for relaxation. The sports massage is more dynamic, with a rhythm and pressure adapted to your physical activity.
